Reporting concerns and wrongdoing
Please let us know if you experience or discover any critical issues related to Oslo Kranservice AS. We want to identify concerns early on and facilitate a thorough and orderly follow-up.
Who can speak up?
Employees and contractors can report concerning matters within the company. Customers, suppliers, partners and others who have contact with Oslo Kranservice can also report concerns related to our business or our assignments.
Employees who report in accordance with the rules of the Working Environment Act are protected against retaliation. This also includes hired employees. See Work Safety Authority's guidance on reporting.
What can you report?
The warning applies to matters that may violate laws and regulations, the company's written ethical guidelines, or ethical standards widely accepted in society. This could include:
- Danger to life, health or safety during work and lifting operations.
- Bullying, harassment, discrimination, or an unsafe working environment.
- Corruption, fraud or other financial misconduct.
- Serious conditions that can harm the climate or the environment.
- Breach of personal data security.
- Other serious violations of regulations or ethical requirements.
Common questions about offers, orders or deliveries can be sent via Contact us. A suspicion of a critical relationship may still be a warning even if the matter also concerns a customer relationship.
What should your report include?
Describe the case as specifically and factually as possible. Feel free to distinguish between what you have observed yourself and information you have received from others.
- What happened, and why do you believe it is wrongdoing or a matter of concern?
- Where and approximately when did it happen?
- Who is involved, and are there any relevant witnesses?
- Has it happened more than once, or is the situation still ongoing?
- Is there any documentation that can shed light on the matter?
Include only the personal data needed to understand and investigate the matter. Agree on a suitable way to provide documents before sharing sensitive information.
How reports are followed up
Alerts from the form are sent to post@oslokranservice.no and is received by Even Ellingsen in Oslo Kranservice AS. If the alert concerns the recipient themselves, you can consider a relevant public authority or an independent advisor as an alternative means of notification.
A report must be assessed and investigated within a reasonable time. Before it is handled, it must be established who can deal with it impartially. Anyone who is the subject of the report must not handle the case themselves.
Identity and case information should not be shared with more people than necessary. The person being notified must also be given the opportunity to explain themselves. If you provide contact information, you may be contacted for clarification. The ability to provide access to further processing and results will depend on the case and the interests of other affected parties.
Contact information and anonymity
You can leave the name, email address, and phone number blank. Without contact information, we cannot ask follow-up questions or provide you with a direct response, and the case may become more difficult to investigate.
Omission of names does not guarantee complete technical anonymity. The website's technical logs may contain your IP address, and the content you type may itself make you identifiable. Consider a different method of notification if you need stronger protection of your identity.
Employees can also report through a union representative, a union official or a lawyer, or directly to a relevant public authority. You do not need to first report internally to report to a public authority. Read More about possible notification methods.
Submit a report
Use the form to provide a factual description of what you wish to report. The contact fields are optional. Urgent incidents that require immediate assistance must be handled through the appropriate emergency response channels.
Oslo Kranservice AS is the data controller. Information in a notification must be used to assess and follow up the case, with limited access and retention according to the needs and applicable regulations. Read privacy policy and The Norwegian Data Protection Authority's guidance on privacy when reporting.
